Renaissance
"a rebirth, a revival, a new beginning"

Over twenty-five years ago a group of concerned residents hoped to revive the spirit of community involvement in Dover, New Jersey. Thus began "Dover Renaissance, Inc.", a nonprofit organization founded to foster pride in the town's residential communities and to project a more positive image of Dover to its neighbors.

Now in the 21st century, the objectives of Dover Renaissance, Inc. have expanded beyond just the residential communities and include improving the quality of life for the entire Dover community.

Dover Renaissance, Inc. is proud of the difference it has made in Dover over the years. The "rebirth" it began has had a positive impact on many people and many areas of life in this wonderful community.

Clearly, this is something to celebrate!

Enriching Dover's Future

Purpose

Dover Renaissance, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose goal is community improvement. Members take a proactive approach in making their visions a reality. From creating a gazebo in JFK Commons to replacing an historical clock on Blackwell Street, Dover Renaissance, Inc. boasts a proud list of accomplishments. In addition, the organiztion has forged numberous associations with other civic groups that share it goals. It has the support of the town's officials, but has no political affiliation.

Membership

Dover Renaissance, Inc. is open to all who are interested in bringing positive change to Dover. Members need not be residents of the town. Membership in the organization creates friendships and a sense of neighborly connection among members and the town's people. Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month.
